This is the story of Lenny the Labrador and David Kennedy. Lenny is a former shelter dog that was adopted by the Kennedy Family from the Agoura Animal Shelter. Lenny's medical care was funded by Malibu Pet Companions.
Malibu Pet Companions (MPC) is a community-based, all volunteer, non-profit 501c3 organization. Their mission is to fund medical care for sick, injured, and un weaned homeless pets at the Agoura Animal Shelter (part of LA County Animal Care and Control). Care includes prescription medicines, surgery (including spay/neutering if not yet altered) diagnostic testing, and special food.
